We are a UK-based recruitment agency partnering with leading brands across the creative sector. Our client is looking for a talented and experienced Social Media Manager to join their growing team. Our client is a dynamic creative agency, and this role will play a pivotal part in managing and growing their social media presence—both for their clients and the agency itself.
Role Overview:
As the Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for the strategy, content creation, and community management of all social media accounts for both the agency and its clients. The ideal candidate will be self-sufficient, proactive, and able to manage a variety of accounts and expectations. You will work closely with the team to create engaging, high-quality content, track performance, and implement effective social media strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation & Scheduling: Create and schedule content across multiple platforms (static, animated, and video content) for both client and agency social media accounts.
Client Onboarding & Relationship Management: Schedule and host onboarding calls with new clients and catch-up calls with pre-existing clients to understand their goals and ensure ongoing satisfaction.
Client Liaison: Communicate with social media clients to gather insights and understand their requirements, ensuring their goals are met effectively.
Social Media Strategy: Develop tailored social media strategies that align with clients’ goals, ensuring strong engagement and growth.
Team Collaboration & Delegation: Manage workload by delegating tasks to relevant freelancers and working closely with the design team for content creation and media repurposing.
Client Reporting: Provide regular social media reports, analyzing performance and suggesting improvements where necessary.
Community Management: Oversee day-to-day community management across social media platforms, fostering engagement and ensuring active interaction.
Additional Tasks: Take on any other social media-related tasks required to deliver excellent service to clients.
Candidate Requirements:
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in social media management.
Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple client accounts.
Confident in managing and delivering social media strategies.
Experience with content creation (static, animated, and video formats).
Comfortable working independently and handling a portfolio of clients.
Experience in client liaison, reporting, and community management.
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks.
Strong understanding of social media analytics and how to use them to drive strategy.
Ability to work well with a team, including designers and freelancers.
Hardware Requirements:
Own computer or laptop.
ADSL/FIBRE internet line with a minimum of 50 Mbps.
·Headphones for use with our VOIP phone system.
Anti-virus installed.
UPS/Back-up battery for load shedding.
