PURPOSE OF THE JOB
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Skills Development Administrator to join our People Solutions team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth and effective administration of our skills development initiatives, contributing directly to the growth and success of our employees and our organisation. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administering all aspects of skills development programmes, from inception to completion.
Coordinating training programme logistics, including scheduling of delegates, venue booking, trainer liaison, and participant communication.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date training records, including attendance registers, certifications, and evaluation forms.
Processing and tracking training-related invoices and expenses, ensuring adherence to budget.
Assisting with the development and implementation of training policies and procedures.
Compiling and submitting WSP/ATR (Workplace Skills Plan/Annual Training Report) data and reports to relevant SETAs and regulatory bodies.
Liaising with SETAs and other external stakeholders regarding grants, levies, and compliance matters.
Providing administrative support for learnerships, internships, and bursary programmes.
Assisting with the identification of training needs and the development of training interventions.
Generating reports on training effectiveness and skills development outcomes.
Maintaining a comprehensive training calendar.
Responding to employee queries regarding skills development opportunities.
JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Grade 12 education
Degree / Diploma in Human Resource or Skills Development & Training is advantageous
Minimum 3 years in a similar administrative role, preferably within Skills Development.
SDF (Skills development facilitator) qualifications
A strong understanding of the South African skills development landscape, including SETAs, WSP/ATR submissions, and relevant legislation.
Proficiency in Google Workspace
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
