Security Manager Vacancy – Fairview Estates (KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa)

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and highly motivated Security Manager to join Fairview Estates, a secure agricultural residential estate located on the scenic east coast of KwaZulu-Natal. We are seeking a skilled individual who can lead estate-wide security operations, uphold high safety standards, and ensure peace of mind for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all estate security operations, including a team of security officers and contracted providers.
Oversee CCTV, access control systems, perimeter fencing, and surveillance technologies.
Conduct regular security risk assessments and maintain an up-to-date risk register.
Develop, implement, and manage security protocols, incident response plans, and SOPs.
Investigate incidents, compile reports, and take appropriate remedial action.
Draft and manage annual security budgets and capital expenditure plans.
Liaise with SAPS, CPF forums, neighbouring estates, municipal authorities, and emergency services.
Ensure compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHS) and estate regulations.
Attend to after-hours emergencies and estate management meetings as required.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a security management role (estate, residential, or agricultural setting preferred).
PSIRA Grade A certification (required).
Proven leadership and team management experience.
Sound knowledge of CCTV systems, access control, electric fencing (preferably Nemtek), and risk management.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for resident and stakeholder engagement.
Excellent reporting and investigation skills.
High proficiency in MS Office and security systems management.
Valid driver’s licence.
Relevant qualification in Policing, Defence, Risk Management or Public Safety (advantageous).
