Job Responsibilities

Manage subordinates according to policies and procedures.

Identify and recommend talents for development to the manager.

Manage and oversee the mowing team.

Ensure close weekly communication with line management.

Perform adhoc duties as required by management, including overtime.

Conduct walkabouts and prepare reports.

Complete machinery checklists and submit reports to the manager.

Handle staff discipline processes.

Liaise with clients and report issues to the manager before they escalate.

Maintain daily attendance records and submit accurate reports for payroll processing.

Conduct monthly customized audits and surveys for clients.

Qualifications

Grade 12

National Diploma in Horticulture or related tertiary qualification (advantageous).

Experience & Skills

Minimum 3 years managerial experience.

Ability to formulate quotes and chair meetings.

Strong administrative and organizational skills.

Ability to work effectively within a team.

Basic financial knowledge.

Proficiency in computer applications.

Strong problem-solving skills.

Additional Requirements

Must have experience as a manager, with key skills including computer skills, lean management, process improvement, warehouse distribution, OSHA compliance, process management, training & development, LIHTC, leadership, property management, and supervising experience.
