ABOUT THE COMPANY PROVIDING THE INTERNSHIP:
Silulumanzi, founded in 1999, is a provider of quality water and wastewater services to people within the City of Mbombela Local Municipality. Each day Silulumanzi provides safe drinking water to approximately 400,000 citizens of City of Mbombela Local Municipality.
The company is located in Mpumalanga, South Africa, and its concession area covers: the city of Mbombela City, and the main Nsikazi townships of Karino, KaNyamazane, Tekwane, Msogwaba, and Matsulu.
Silulumanzi is a South African Water Works (SAWW) company, responsible for managing 2 water concessions within Ballito and Mbombela.
DETAILS ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME:
Silulumanzi is offering 10 learners the opportunity to join their learnership programme under the supervision of Water and Waste-Water Process Controllers.
Location: Mpumalanga
Duration: 12 months
Pay: Students will receive a monthly stipend.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED
TO APPLY:
Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:
Must be a South African citizen
Education requirement: must have completed Matric
Age requirement: must be between 18 and 35 years old
Working experience: none required
An EE candidate
Have NOT participated in any previous learnership programmes within the water sector
Preference will be given to candidates from designated groups
