Shop Specialist – Watches Jobs in South Africa at Crew Life at Sea
ey Responsibilities:
– Oversee the day-to-day operations of the watch shop, including sales, inventory management, and customer service onboard the cruise ship
– Provide exceptional customer service to onboard guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded
– Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay up to date on industry trends and new releases
– Create and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and meet sales targets
– Train and supervise a team of sales associates, ensuring they are knowledgeable and providing excellent customer service
– Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed to ensure a well-stocked and visually appealing shop
– Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
– Collaborate with other departments onboard to promote and market the watch shop
– Assist with visual merchandising and displays to showcase products effectively
– Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as safety and security measures
Requirements:
– High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred
– Minimum of 2 years of retail sales experience, preferably in luxury goods
– Fluency in English required; proficiency in one or more of the following languages is strongly preferred: German, French, Spanish, Italian
– Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
– Knowledge of watches and luxury brands preferred
– Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
– Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
– Must be able to pass a background check and obtain necessary travel documents
