Shipping/Production Specialist

Position Summary
Labor intensive position requiring the shipment of multiple product lines and orders daily. Ability to multitask is a plus. The ability to lift 100 lbs. is essential.
This is a labor intensive position requiring the production and quality control of a wide variety of stocked items. The ability to lift 100 lbs. is essential. While forklift experience is preferred, only 10% of the day will be spent on the forklift. The remainder of the time will be completing other duties on the warehouse floor.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Pull, prepare and inspect orders for accuracy and load daily orders
- Review sales orders for accuracy
- Compile the shipping documents and review for accuracy
- Prepare freight quotes for outgoing orders
- Stock finished product
- Clean up and organization of the warehouse on a daily basis
- Adhere to safety rules and regulations at all times
- Participate in scheduled safety meetings
- Assist other departments as directed
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Essential Skills and Requirements
Education, Preparation, and Training:
- Requires Shipping experience
- Requires Fork Lift experience
- Ability to complete mathematical calculations
- Must be able to speak, read and write in English
Skills:
- Must be able to work cooperatively and effectively in a team environment
- Must be able to safely drive a forklift (Forklift certification preferred)
- LTL Shipping experience preferred
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift at least 100 lbs.
- Ability to work in a warehouse setting with a variable climate
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Able to perform repetitive motions
Computer Skills:
- Basic computer skills required
- SAGE 100 experience a plus
Travel:
- Infrequent Travel (refer to travel policy)
- Most work takes place at an IB Roof Systems location

Compensation:
- Benefits: Standard Company benefits including health, dental and vision insurance with employee participations.
- 401(k): Dollar for dollar match up to 4% of annual compensation.
