In this vital role, you will coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, manage inventory accuracy, and ensure that all products are processed efficiently and accurately. Duties
- Receive incoming shipments by inspecting deliveries against purchase orders, verifying quantities, and ensuring proper documentation using warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP software.
- Prepare outgoing shipments by selecting, packing, and labeling products according to customer specifications, shipping logistics requirements, and trade compliance standards.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers, and other warehouse equipment safely to load and unload trucks efficiently while maintaining safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through data entry into inventory management software, ensuring stock levels are current for order fulfillment and warehouse distribution.
- Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and audits to uphold inventory accuracy; report discrepancies promptly for resolution.
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to optimize storage solutions, organize stock placement, and facilitate efficient picking & packing processes for e-commerce or bulk orders.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and shipping & receiving standards by adhering to proper packaging procedures and documentation requirements.
Experience
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or logistics roles with a focus on shipping & receiving functions.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Demonstrated ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management and data entry tasks.
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately.
- Excellent customer service skills for interacting professionally with carriers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Knowledge of shipping logistics including packaging standards, load & unload procedures, trade compliance regulations, and international trade considerations is a plus.
Pay: $24.00 – $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
