Job Advert Summary
To provide a full Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality function to the Northern Region.
Minimum Requirements
Matric/Grade 12 or Equivalent
NEBOSH, SAMTRAC or Equivalent
OHSAS 18001 implementation would be an advantage
National Safety Management Diploma or working towards this diploma will be extremely advantageous
5 years full time safety in a similar service orientated technical business environment
Must have a Valid driver’s licence
Duties and Responsibilities
Managing safety system
Maintaining safety system & standard
Liaising with customer safety department & complying with safety standards & procedures
Implementing safe operating procedures
Complying with construction regulations
Compiling S.H.E risk assessments
Accident / Incident Investigations
S.H.E Employee awareness
Preparation for S.H.E Audits
Toolbox talks
Site induction
Safety training
Travelling away from home for short periods is required
Good facilitator with strong presentation / training skills
