Identify potential hazards in the workplace and assess the risk levels associated with them.
Inspect the workplace to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Investigate, document and recommend corrective actions of the accidents in the workplace.
Train employees on how to safely perform their tasks and what to do in emergencies.
Check sub-contractor compliance.
Conduct regular drills (e.g., fire drills) to prepare employees for emergency situations.
Qualifications:
Grade: 12 Matric Certificate.
ISO 14001 & 45001.
Skills:
Attention to detail.
Computer Literate.
Good report writing skills.
Good communication (oral and written) & interpersonal relations skills.
Work independently though being a team player.
Knowledge of the OHS.
Investigating skills.
Root cause analysis.
Experience:
Experience on a production site – 2 years.
