SHEQ Officer
About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated SHEQ Officer to join our team. You will be responsible for driving Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality compliance across the company and ensuring that all processes align with legal requirements and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and monitor SHEQ policies and procedures
Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments
Investigate incidents and identify root causes
Develop and deliver SHEQ training
Liaise with external stakeholders and regulatory bodies
Maintain SHEQ records and ensure audit preparedness
Assist with continuous improvement of quality and safety systems
Requirements:
Relevant SHEQ qualifications (e.g. SAMTRAC, NEBOSH, ISO 9001)
Experience in a SHEQ role within engineering or manufacturing
Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Stock Controller
About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Stock Controller to manage our inventory processes and ensure accurate stock handling across the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and control stock movements, receipts, and dispatches
Maintain accurate inventory records
Conduct regular stock counts and cycle checks
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams to optimize stock processes
Ensure proper labeling, handling, and storage of all materials
Maintain a clean and organized store environment
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Stock Controller or in a similar role
Familiarity with inventory control systems
Strong numeracy and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience in steel or engineering materials is an advantage
