Job Summary
We are one of the largest stocking air filter distributors in the United States. We provide air filtration products and services to hospitals, healthcare facilities, schools, universities, government buildings, commercial properties, manufacturers, clean rooms, and other facilities where indoor air quality is critical.
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Sewer / Seamstress to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for sewing, altering, assembling, and repairing fabric and filter media used in our air filtration products. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and takes pride in producing clean, accurate, and consistent work.
Job Responsibilities
- Operate industrial and/or commercial sewing machines to sew fabric, filter media, and related materials.
- Measure, cut, alter, and sew fabric and filter media according to specifications and work orders.
- Perform alterations and modifications to existing filter bags, covers, sleeves, and other filtration products.
- Ensure all seams, stitches, dimensions, and finished products meet company quality standards.
- Carefully inspect materials for defects, damage, or inconsistencies before and after sewing.
- Follow patterns, drawings, measurements, and written instructions accurately.
- Handle different types of fabric, filter media, and other materials used in air filtration applications.
- Make adjustments to sewing machines, thread tension, and settings as needed.
- Meet production schedules while maintaining a high level of workmanship and accuracy.
Schedule
- 5am Start Time, Monday–Friday
- OT after 8 Hours!
Qualifications
- Previous sewing or seamstress experience preferred, but training may be provided for the right candidate.
- Experience with industrial sewing machines is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precise measurements.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to read and follow measurements, patterns, and work instructions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment and to meet all deadlines.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive sewing and material-handling tasks.
- English or Spanish speaking is a plus.

Pay: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour
