Job Description:
General Servo and Spindle Motors is hiring for an entry level Servo Motor Technician apprenticeship position, to evaluate and deliver high quality motor repair services. The Servo Motor Technician job responsibilities include inspecting and testing units to identify the cause of errors and other defects, disassembling and assembling units utilizing hand and power tools, and efficiently completing repairs to meet current business environment demands and providing customers with a positive motor repair experience. The position involves learning how to evaluating/repairing a variety of AC motors, DC motors, and Stepper motors. We are looking for someone who has knowledge on precision measuring instruments such as multimeters, calipers, and oscilloscopeand basic mechanical knowledge of tools and Servo motos, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Skills required for this position are critical thinking, quality control analysis, and troubleshooting or determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it. Abilities to apply for this position are oral and written comprehension, deductive reasoning, and problem sensitivity. The Servo Motor Technician position is essential to the success of our business and maintaining our five-star repair services.
