Summary
As a Service Desk Specialist at Techify Inc., you will play a vital role in delivering top-notch technical support to our clients. Located in Toronto, you will be responsible for the initial triage of the issue and work to resolve the clients request within a 30-minute window or less. Intake of service requests happen via. a phone call or a submission request that lands on our service board.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide first-line technical response to clients via phone, email or service board
You own the initial response time of 30 minutes or less to respond and begin actioning a request
Document all interactions and solutions in our ticketing system for future reference following our internally developed processes
Schedule client service requests with L2 and L3 resources where applicable
Maintain knowledge of current technologies to provide effective solutions and great advice to our customers
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication
Requirements
Proven experience in technical support or help desk roles
Strong understanding of Windows environments
Familiarity of Microsoft 365 administration (ie. Azure, Exchange, SharePoint)
Familiarity of Virtual Machine concepts and basic troubleshooting (VMWare)
Familiarity of networking and firewall management
Experience working with RMM tools (Preference of Datto)
Experience working in AutoTask
Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
Ability to troubleshoot computer hardware issues effectively
You will be required to work within our time zone (Eastern Standard Time). The hours for this position will be Monday to Friday, 11:30am – 8:00pm. This includes a half hour break.
