We are seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer to work within a US-based Fin Tech client’s Agile Product team.
8+ years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably within a Fin Tech environment. Expertise in Figma and proficiency in other design tools. Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and UX best practices. Experience working with developers to translate designs into functional interfaces.
Type: 12-month Contract (Rolling)
Rate: R80 000 – R100 000 Depending on experience
Area:
Remote within South Africa
Responsibilities:
• Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma and other design tools.
• Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to ensure seamless user experiences.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis to drive design decisions.
• Develop and maintain design systems and UI component libraries.
• Optimize UX flows to enhance user engagement and satisfaction.
• Ensure consistency in branding and visual identity across all digital touchpoints.
Requirements:
• 8+ years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably within a Fin Tech environment.
• Expertise in Figma and proficiency in other design tools.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and UX best practices.
• Experience working with developers to translate designs into functional interfaces.
• Ability to work remotely with your own equipment.
• Willingness to overlap work hours until 12:00-13:00 EST (negotiable).
Bonus Skills:
• Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.
