About the role: Leverage your excellent people skills combined with your experience as a Senior Travel consultant into a Management position, functioning in multiple Hybrid Roles as required.
Sales Manager Role leading a small team of Junior consultants, managing seamless bookings and mentor junior consultants.
Travel Consultant Role crafting bespoke African safaris, itineraries, leisure holidays
MICE conference consultant Role. You’ll design and custom-prepare professional B2B quotations.
Key responsibilities
Sales Manager Role leading a small team of Junior consultants, Train, coach, and guide Junior Travel Consultants in destination knowledge and sales techniques
Develop, price and sell personalised safari, holiday and conference packages across South & Southern Africa
Produce accurate B2B quotations and oversee fulfilment for our Conferences division.
Deliver exceptional, solution-driven customer service via phone, email and online channels
Candidate requirements
Minimum 15 years’ travel-industry experience at a bona fide travel agency, tour operator or MICE provider—including minimum 10 years selling holidays, safaris and conferences
Relevant tourism qualifications
Deep expertise in Southern Africa’s parks and reserves and Safari Industry
Proven sales record and strong computer literacy
Excellent English communication skills (additional South African language advantageous) .
Outgoing vibrant personality, with excellent people skills.
Ability to prioritise under pressure, a collaborative mindset and a proactive approach to sales management implementation.
