A leading renewable power producer, delivering affordable and clean energy worldwide, is looking for a Senior Sustainability Manager to join their Cape Town team.
Requirements:
-Post-graduate University degree within social science, biology, resource economics or environmental/climate science
-Minimum 5-10 years of work experience with environmental and social risk management of infrastructure or energy projects, preferably with site implementation experience from hydro, wind and/or solar developments
-Experience in project management, including leading small teams and working with senior stakeholders
-Strong knowledge of and experience working with International Environmental and Social standards including the Equator Principles and IFC Performance Standards
-Experience in stakeholder engagement and management at different levels
