Bluemarket is responsible to run a integration service for one of South Africa’s leading airlines. In the role as Senior Backend Engineer you will participate in building a critical part of business infrastructure spanning many interesting disciplines.
At Bluemarket we prefer candidates that take ownership of projects and are willing to take a leading role.
Requirements
B. Sc. Computer Science / BEng Computer Engineering (or similar)
Minumum work expierence of 4 years
Backend expierence developing on the backend with Python (Django).
Backend expierence integrating various API’s especially SOAP services.
Strong experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL).
Experience with using Redis as event queue and cache.
Experience tuning API services performance for high amounts of traffic.
Nice to have
Frontend work experience using Django with Vue.js.
Expierence deploying and running python web applications, in Linux environments.
Experience running and maintaining services in a cloud environment (AWS).
Expierence as solo developer on interesting projects
