Position: Senior Software Developer – QL (IT)

Our Client in the IT industry, requires the services of a passionate and qualified individual to expand its dynamic team for enhancement of services to their Clients.

Job specifications:

  • Experience in the following is essential:
  • System analysis and design
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Software development
  • System documentation
  • Test plans and cases
  • Knowledge of technology structures (networks, database, communications, etc.)
  • Documentation and diagrams of the above mentioned topics

    • Industry knowledge of the following will be an advantage:

  • Payrolls
  • Debit orders

    • Qualification:

  • Grade 12.
  • Relevant tertiary education is preferable.
  • 5-8 Years relevant development experience.
  • Must be a positive, team orientated and enthusiastic individual.
  • Ability to act independently, self-manage and apply initiative.
  • Problem solving and solution focused attitude.

    • Essential knowledge/skills:

  • C/C++
  • UNIX
  • Oracle

    • Desirable knowledge/skills:

  • PERL
  • UML
