Boxer Superstores is seeking a skilled and motivated individual to fill the position of Senior Shift Manager with 3-5 years’ experience for our East London Distribution Centre. As a Senior Shift Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing the operations, including all aspects of inbound, inventory and outbound operations. Minimum Requirements
Requirements:
Relevant Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain
A Maximum of 3-5 years’ experience in managing a warehouse/distribution center
Ability to work shift patterns
Solid systems knowledge – Advanced Excel, WMS, High Jump, Bomm, camera system
Retail/Warehouse experience
Staff Management Experience
Preferred Skills:
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Make sure adequate picking staff available
Appropriate MHE available to staff
Oversee that all picking and admin is done efficiently on time
Report on shift attendance and performance
Managing of stock
Receiving
Replenishment
Reverse logistics
Chep pallets
During night shift has full responsibility when scheduled to work
Inventory management
Managing of staff and managers
Update SOP’s
Training
Up skilling management
Succession planning
Liaise with Resolve planning and Transporters
Recycling control
Staff Management
Business Partnering – internally and externally
