We’re expanding our team and looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Security Technician to lead the charge in implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting advanced integrated security systems.
Position Overview:
As a Senior Security Technician, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and executing the maintenance, installation and configuration of security systems, including surveillance cameras, access control, alarm systems, electric fencing and more. You’ll also provideleadershipand mentorship to junior technicians and collaborate closely with the engineering and operations teams to ensure the highest standards of security are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and complete maintenance of security systems for large estates, residential and commercial properties.
Conduct system diagnostics, troubleshooting, and provide timely resolutions to complex security issues.
Lead and manage security system preventative maintenance, upgrades and new installations.
Supervise and mentor junior technicians, providing guidance and training as needed.
Collaborate with the HOA team to ensure preventative maintenance are completed on time and all weekly and monthly reports are submitted.
Stay updated on the latest security technologies, trends, and best practices.
Provide customer support and assist.
Effectivedocument managementincluding maintenance reports and quotes.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in security system installation and maintenance (CCTV, alarms, access control).
Strong knowledge of security technology, including IP cameras, networking, and integration of security systems.
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in afast-paced environment.
Excellentcommunicationand interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to clients.
Strongleadershipand team coordination skills.
Gallagher qualification is a must.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Willingness to be on call for emergencies or after-hours support as needed.
