This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless reservation processes, optimizing occupancy, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. Key Responsibilities
Reservation Management: Oversee all reservation inquiries and bookings across multiple channels, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Guest Relations: Provide prompt and courteous responses to guest inquiries, modifications, and special requests, enhancing overall satisfaction.
Revenue Optimisation: Implement upselling strategies and monitor room availability to maximise occupancy and revenue.
Team Collaboration: Liaise with front office, housekeeping, and sales departments to ensure cohesive operations and guest readiness.
System Proficiency: Utilise property management systems to manage bookings, generate reports, and maintain data integrity.
Training & Development: Mentor junior reservation staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
Qualifications & Experience
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; tertiary qualification in Hospitality Management is advantageous.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a reservations role within the hospitality industry, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in reservation software (e.g., Opera, Fidelio) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong command of English.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong organisational abilities, attention to detail, and a customer-centric approach.
