Full Job Description
Intramech (Pty)Ltd is looking for an HVAC technician to strengthen their Cape Town branch.
The service technician will have sufficient theoretical training, and will have a trade test certificate, as well a safe handling certificate. Due to the nature of the machines we are working with, computer literacy is critical. The ability to work in a team is an important factor. The following duties will be assigned to the successful candidate:
Responsible for end to end testing, controller programming, starting up and commissioning as well as servicing of HVAC equipment on assigned projects.
Represents the company by serving as the direct customer contact and is responsible for servicing products and equipment on assigned projects, ensuring customer satisfaction by identifying, analyzing, diagnosing and repairing equipment and systems errors at customer’s location.
To do emergency call outs during scheduled standby weekends and public holidays.
Experience in large chilled water central plant is a prerequisite
Experience with large water chillers, strong diagnostic skills and control experience will be an advantage
