About the Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team. This is a fully remote opportunity for a skilled professional with strong UK construction industry experience who can confidently manage costs, contracts, and commercial performance across a range of projects.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, profitably, and in line with client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing all commercial and contractual aspects of projects
- Preparing cost estimates, budgets, and valuations
- Conducting risk and value management assessments
- Managing subcontractor procurement and payments
- Preparing and negotiating final accounts
- Monitoring project costs and financial performance
- Providing strategic commercial advice to stakeholders
- Ensuring compliance with UK construction regulations and standards
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within the UK
- Proven experience in construction, infrastructure, or consultancy environments
- Strong knowledge of UK contracts and commercial practices
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
- Membership of RICS or working towards chartership is desirable
