What will you do?
Job Purpose
The Senior Project Manager in the Intermediary and Client Enablement Solutions area is responsible for leading and managing complex projects that enhance the capabilities and efficiencies of intermediary and client-facing systems. This role involves strategic planning, execution, and delivery of projects that align with the organization’s goals and client needs. The Senior Project Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to ensure project objectives are met on time, within scope, and budget. This position requires a strong focus on innovation, process improvement, and the ability to drive change in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership: Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring successful delivery from initiation to closure.
Project Stakeholder Management: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and manage expectations.
Project Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
Project Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, ensuring projects are delivered within financial constraints.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and business units, to ensure seamless project execution.
Process Improvement: Working alongside the project team, IT and business stakeholders, contributed to identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement best practices to improve project delivery and client satisfaction.
Project Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines and outcomes.
Project Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on project progress, using key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
Project Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure all projects comply with regulatory requirements and maintain high standards of quality.
Project Governance: Ensure all projects comply with the project management best proactive governance standards, practices and processes.
Key Outcomes
Successful on time delivery of a strategic digital transformation project. with respect to scope, timelines, resourcing and risks to ensure delivery according to agreed project parameters
Communication of strategic vision, business benefits and value to be gained by achieving the project objectives to project team members and beyond project team, including reporting of project status and risks to all stakeholders
Setting and management of expectations relating to projects
Building and managing relationships with project stakeholders, including internal and external clients, to ensure operational service delivery is maintained and business impact minimized
Planning, co-ordination and facilitation of project work according to agreed priorities
Management of project delivery, progress tracking, project risks and issues management
Management of changes to the agreed project scope and/or timeline to preserve business commitments and re-alignment of project objectives with regards to scope and timeline in the event of change
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree with majors in business administration, project management or equivalent qualification.
PRINCE2 qualification or PMP, will be an advantage.
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Project Management with the ability to apply any methodology or tool suited to the context and nature of the project and environment.
Extensive experience in implementing projects linked to strategic digital transformation projects as well as client and intermediary solution enablement experience will be advantageous.
Knowledge of and competent in applying project management principles (PMBOK)
Knowledge of business products and processes and systems development life cycles
