Position: Senior Process Engineer (12 Month Contract)
Senior Process Engineer (12 month contract)
Our client, a leader in the South African banking and investment space, is seeking an experienced Senior Process Engineer to join their team.
Responsibilities :
Support business units in analyzing, improving, and redesigning core and support processes, from current state assessments to post-implementation support, to enhance efficiency, standardization, and straight-through processing with exception management.
Design and implement process improvements by :
Finding new ways to increase effectiveness and efficiency
Evaluating research findings and alternative methods
Developing logical evaluations of new ideas and designs
Creating flowcharts or diagrams
Designing metrics, feedback mechanisms, and implementation plans
Perform tasks such as :
Project Management Data Mining Statistical Analysis Process Mapping Lean Process Engineering Production Planning Quality Assurance Performance Management Business Improvement Lean Manufacturing Budget ManagementQuality Control Process Audits Requirements : BCom in Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or BEng in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or BSc in Information Systems.
Minimum of 10 years experience at a Process Practitioner level.
Experience in financial services, payments, or working capital.
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification is advantageous.
SAFe certification is preferred.
