Role Description
This is a contract hybrid role for a Senior PHP Developerbased in Centurion, with some flexibility forremote work. The role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality PHP-based applications. The developer will implement best coding practices, including Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), support back-end and front-end development needs, optimise performance, troubleshoot issues, and deliver scalable software solutions. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and contribute to project success.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and expertise in PHP development.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Experience with Front-End Development, including working with frameworks and libraries.
- Hands-on experience in Software Development and Programming with a focus on scalable, secure, and efficient solutions.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, balancing on-site and remote responsibilities effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with a focus on delivering quality code.
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
- Experience with frameworks or technologies such as Laravel, Symfony, or similar is an advantage.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and version control systems is beneficial.
