You will be responsible for executing and enhancing daily and monthly processes that support the GIS Unitization and Financial Reporting functions.

Provide support across GIS functional areas, including Technical IFRS Reporting, Technical Operations, and Technical Solutions.

Continuously review and refine operational processes and documentation to mitigate risks and enhance efficiency.

Drive automation initiatives where feasible and initiate development interventions as required.

Analyze and address queries by assessing their impact on functions/processes, managing expectations, and implementing root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.

Develop a deep understanding of process and operational requirements, particularly how optimized operational processes can support Momentum Group’s financial reporting.

Actively participate in efficiency improvement efforts across processes, policies, and systems, ensuring the effective implementation of life fund unitization processes.

Assist with strategic initiatives within Group Finance Reporting.

Coordinate and execute day-to-day processes, including client cash flow instructions, multi-portfolio manager instructions, and life business segment transactions.

Perform daily integrity and validation checks to prevent day-end failures in the Interlink unitization system.

Review and resolve daily transaction errors to ensure accurate processing of client investments and disinvestments.

Process and verify policyholder accrual payments related to large withdrawals, including Capital Gains Tax (CGT), Management Fees, and Income Tax.

Monitor and resolve cash breaks in investment operations.

Track client administrators’ behavior to identify and report any suspicious activity to the Risk Department.

Ensure timely and accurate execution of all daily functions related to client and fund manager banking.

Maintain accuracy and timeliness in executing Interlink unitization functions.

What you will need:

A relevant financial or investment qualification, preferably a B.Commerce degree or an equivalent qualification.

5 to 10 years of experience in Investment Administration, specifically within asset management, multi-management, or LISP environments.
