Job Description
A leading multi-disciplinary consulting firm with a global footprint is looking for a Senior Mechanical or Electrical Engineer with experience on data centre projects to join their growing team. This role can be based in Durban, Johannesburg or Cape Town.
Minimum Requirements:
• BEng/BSc degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Professionally Registered with ECSA
• 10+ years’ experience, with specific experience in leading Data Centre or Healthcare projects within building services consultancy
• Experience of REVIT MEP
• Experience of Carbon Modelling software or ability to learn and guide others in this
• Knowledge of or experience of business development
• Understanding of commercial realities and business needs.
• Team leadership skills
• Design project management for science and laboratory projects
• Experience of Revit for 3D modelling and rendering of building services, and BIM analysis including performance calculations and parametric modelling.
