We are recruiting for a Senior Manager:
Platforms Engineer role.
The Senior Manager:
Platforms Engineer is accountable to drive the transformation agenda and mandate through the enablement of digital and technology solutions which will enable the fund to be future-ready, digitally enabled and innovative in-service delivery.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree/ Advanced Diploma in an Information Technology or a Computer Science related qualification.
Postgraduate in Information Technology or a Computer Science related qualification.
Experience
Relevant 9-10 years’ experience in an Information Technology or Applications Development/Enterprise Resource Planning related environment of which 3 (three) years must have been on a management level/area of expertise.
Proven experience in software development and/or programming design and systems management.
Proven experience in overseeing the direction, development, and implementation of software solutions.
Must have SAP ERP environment experience.
Technical Experience Required:
Successful implementation of Digital Transformation operational plans.
Provide input into the development of the digital transformation business strategy and plan that ensures alignment with short-term and long-term objectives.
Application development and business intelligence.
Oversee the development, design, and implementation of new applications and changes to existing computer systems and software packages.
Oversee the development, review, and certification of all backup and disaster recovery procedures and plans.
Oversee the development of a plan to implement key initiatives (application systems) and obtain sign-off from the Head.
Develop and maintain expert knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning and other business applications. Provide support for these business applications.
