Job Function

Accountable for driving HR operational excellence and programme delivery across DP World Africa. It leads HR programmes and releases, including change readiness, governance and benefits realisation, and facilitates the rolling HR book of work for DP World Africa in support of the Regional HR strategy.

Key performance areas:

  • Continuous Improvement Strategy and Governance – Define and own the HR Operations continuous improvement approach for DP World Africa, establish governance, standards and a prioritisation framework that align to Global and Regional HR strategies.
  • SOP Standardisation and Process Re-Engineering – Contribute to the design, documentation, standardisation and optimisation of end-to-end HR processes, apply process improvement methods to simplify, standardise and automate where appropriate.
  • HR Programme and Release Management – Plan and lead HR programmes and system releases in partnership with Business Applications Lead – impacting DP World Africa. Coordinate timelines, dependencies and resources, ensure clear governance, risk management and benefits tracking.
  • Change Readiness and Adoption – In partnership with Change Management capability, develop and execute change and communication plans for HR initiatives, prepare HR teams and stakeholders for change, and drive adoption of new processes, tools and ways of working.
  • Rolling HR Book of Work – Facilitate the establishment and maintenance of a rolling HR book of work for DP World Africa, consolidating initiatives from Global, Regional and local HR strategies, and ensuring alignment, sequencing and transparency.
  • Volume Forecasting and Capacity Planning – Work with HR Operations, CoEs and HRBPs to forecast HR transaction and programme volumes, plan capacity across teams and protect SLAs during peak cycles and major change activities.
  • Data, Reporting and Benefits Realisation – Develop and maintain dashboards on process performance, programme status, SLAs, automation benefits and improvement impacts, track benefits realisation and provide insights to HR and business leaders.

Qualifications required:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Human Resources Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Business, HR or Project Management is advantageous.

Skills and experience required:

  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in HR Operations, shared services, business operations or a related field, with substantial exposure to process improvement and programme or project management in a complex, multi-country or matrixed environment.
  • Proven track record in designing and implementing standardised processes, SOPs, automation initiatives etc.
