🚀 About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead and deliver complex ICT and infrastructure projects across a large enterprise environment.
This role will see you managing end-to-end project delivery across multiple business units and vendors, ensuring successful implementation, governance, and alignment with organisational objectives.
Must-Have (Non-Negotiable)
Applications without the following will not be considered:
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience as an IT Project Manager
- Proven experience delivering ICT / Infrastructure projects (networks, servers, security, data centres, cloud)
- Experience managing projects across multiple business units and third-party vendors
- Strong experience managing budgets, risks, scope, and timelines
- Hands-on experience with project management tools (MS Project, JIRA, DevOps, etc.)
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects end-to-end across the full SDLC
- Oversee planning, execution, implementation, and post-implementation support
- Track and report on project milestones, budgets, and performance
- Coordinate across Infrastructure teams, Developers, Analysts, Testers, and Business stakeholders
- Manage third-party vendors and service providers
- Lead project governance, documentation, and reporting (including Steerco participation)
- Manage scope, risks, resources, and quality delivery
- Drive change management and organisational impact alignment
🎯 Core Requirements & Experience
- Formal qualification/s in Project Management (PMBOK / PRINCE2 preferred)
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban)
- Strong understanding of IT software development and infrastructure environments
- Working knowledge of the ITIL framework
- Proven experience managing organisational change/transformation initiatives
- Strong experience facilitating workshops and stakeholder sessions
- Ability to build strong relationships across business units and technical teams

- Matric (essential)
- Degree in Information Technology (advantageous)
- Project Management certification (advantageous)
- Agile certifications (beneficial)
