Our client, a leader in the Logistics Industry, is currently looking to employ a Senior Industrial Engineer based in Gauteng (Pretoria).

Job Function :
Be the process owner and subject matter expert (SME) for the assigned process (viz Inbound, Outbound, Inventory, Distribution).
This includes managing projects to design, implement, stabilize, and continuously improve the logistical processes and systems.
Deep understanding of all aspects of the assigned process through application of analytic tools (Power BI), shopfloor observation and interaction with operation and client.
Enable the shopfloor to execute and exceed service level agreement.
Requirements :
5 years or more working experience in logistics, supply chain, warehouse planning, cyclic logistics, distribution.
Proven track record of successful project management.
Previous leadership experience.
Prior automotive experience will be an advantage.
Prior distribution and transport experience will be advantageous (inbound and / or outbound).
Power BI or similar data analysis experience will be an advantage.
Responsibilities, but not limited to :
Project management.
Process system design and implementation.
Continuous improvement of processes and systems.
Team management.
Process and system failure root-cause analysis.
Develop and maintain a trustworthy relationship with client and company operations.
Support operations to achieve world-class performance levels.
