PET is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in software design and architecture, contributing to advancements in veterinary medicine.
This role involves designing, testing, and implementing software solutions that impact the future of veterinary technology. Signal
PET uses AI to analyze veterinary radiographs, improving diagnostics and treatments for animals.
Responsibilities:
Develop applications with clean, efficient code.
Conduct code reviews, write tests, and validate software quality.
Debug issues and optimize performance.
Instrument code for performance metrics and resolve bottlenecks.
Research and suggest new methodologies for platform improvement.
Manage software throughout the SDLC, including documentation and monitoring.
Collaborate with teams and support to enhance product use and resolve issues.
Requirements:
6+ years of experience as a Backend or Full Stack Developer.
Experience with Type Script and React.
Node.js experience is advantageous.
Familiarity with the Remix framework is a plus.
Experience with relational databases like MySQL or Postgre
SQL.
Proficiency in building high-quality software with containers on AWS.
Location: Sandton (On-site only)
