Job Description
Pricing of Tender Documentsusing CCS
Responsibilities:
Preparing Detailed Cost Estimates and Allowable Appropriate cost in cost estimating.
Preparation of BOQs.
Requesting quotations from suppliers for tender purposes (Leads to Business).
Liaise with and negotiate with Suppliers and Subcontractors.
Compile and analyse subcontractor adjudications.
Understanding of Construction Drawings and Taking Off Quantities.
Attending to Site Inspections.
Skills / Competencies Required
Analysing Tender Documents.
Preparing bid Packages.
Researching Market Prices.
Broad general understanding of current construction methods, materials and regulations.
Ability to interpret specifications and construction contracts.
Accurate and thorough in estimating quantities and costs.
Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines.
Knowledge of techniques for construction scheduling.
Knowledge of construction site administration.
Excellent interpersonalcommunication skills.
Advanced writing and computer skills.
Initiative, Enthusiasm, Commitment.
Cost estimation skills.
Knowledge of cost accounting, supplies and purchasing methods.
Experience in sales or customer service.
