Job Description
A leading international consulting firm is looking for a Senior Environmental Consultant with extensive experience on mining projects to join their team in Johannesburg.
Minimum Requirements:
• BSc Honours or Masters degree in Environmental Science
• 5+ years’ experience in an environmental consultancy
• Must be able to proactively manage elements of an EIA project, liaise with clients, specialists and authorities, manage quality assurance/client feedback and ensure he/she meets budgetary, quality, safety and timeframe targets
• Must have a sound knowledge of environmental legislation and the EIA process
• Must be able to sustain client and stakeholder relationships
• Must be able to manage elements of EIA projects
• Must have worked on mining projects within South Africa
