Senior Energy Consultant
Leading international consulting engineering firm is looking for a Senior Energy Consultant with a focus on Grid connections and large project context to join their Energy Division in Cape Town or Johannesburg.
Desired Experience & Qualification
BSc. or BEng. in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
Preferably with a further qualification in renewable energy
Professionally registered with ECSA
Around 8 or more years of relevant experience
Recognizable experience in the energy sector, specifically exposure to renewable energy and grid connections
Project Management experience to lead and deliver technical advisory, owner’s engineer, and design services within the renewable energy sector for clients
Preparing and delivering bids and proposals, writing technical reports and presentations, and reviewing reports, drawings, and presentations by others
Driving the development of junior energy team members across South African offices through mentoring and provision of technical and commercial guidance
