Senior Chef – Multi-Store Role – Western Cape Jobs in Cape Town at Hospitality Jobs Africa

Prepare authentic Thai cuisine and oversee kitchen operations across multiple stores.

Train, mentor, and motivate kitchen teams to maintain high culinary standards.

Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and food quality regulations.

Monitor kitchen setups, stock control, and overall food preparation processes.

Troubleshoot operational challenges, report on store-specific issues, and implement solutions.

Culinary Qualification: A recognized culinary diploma or SA Chefs certificate is advantageous.

Experience: 3-5 years in a senior kitchen role, preferably in Asian cuisine.

Transport: Must have own reliable transport.

Legal Work Status: Must be South African or have a valid work visa.

Strong communication and leadership skills to train and develop kitchen teams.

Thai cuisine experience is an advantage but not a prerequisite—full training will be provided.

Job Details:
Work Schedule: 6 days per week. Leave as per the Labour Relations Act.

Salary: Market-related and based on experience, including a fuel allowance as part of CTC.

Meals: 1 meal per shift worked.

Start Date: ASAP – Permanent contract (includes a clause covering recruitment costs if the candidate leaves within 12 months).
