Excellent opportunity to join our team based in Gardens, Cape Town.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Matric
· Relevant financial qualification. Bcom Degree preferable
· Min 3 – 5 years’ experience in Bookkeeping/Accounting in a medium to large scale organization.
· Book up to trail balance experience essential
· National accounts experience advantageous
· Experience working on Sage Evolution
· Exposure in hospitality – advantageous
· Own transport and valid drivers license
· Excellent attention to detail.
DUTIES:
· Reporting to the Financial Manager
· Bookkeeping to Balance Sheet
· Knowledge of Management Accounts
· Monitor all credit and debts transactions
· Management reports with month end
· Processing bank statements
· Reconciliation of bank accounts
· Ensure transactions are accurately and timeously processing
· Emailing monthly statements to residents
· Monitor petty cash
· Capture of all new member on accounting package
· Facilitate payments on invoices received
· Manage Year End Audits
· Paye / UIF / SDL
· Control and manage monthly contracts
