Overview
The principle purpose of this position is to capture accounting documentation, bank reconciliation, customer and creditor statements in compliance with policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
Allocate payments
Check statements for correctness
Forward statements
Assist in recons if needed
Re-allocate sundry customers to correct account
Follow up on overdues
Correct any incorrect entries if needed
Create creditors on M3
Arrange to create new creditors on Standard Bank
Do adhoc payments once week
Validate correctness of invoices
Trace outstanding supplier invoices & documentation
Do creditors recon
Load creditors for month end payments
Capture of bank statement
Raise jnls for AP accruals
Release pre payments
Do installation report
Re-allocation of incorrect entries
AR Report
Cash and Debt Report
Qualifications
Matric with Math and/or Accounting.
Experience as Bookkeeper 10 years or more.
Universitity Degree
