Responsibilities
:
Leading or overseeing all aspects of transaction execution, including developing a marketing strategy, marketing materials, and target lists, reviewing or preparation of client financial models, hosting investor meetings, addressing investor Q&A, and term sheet negotiation.
Business development activities, including attending conferences, outreach to clients based on market sources (eg. Pitch Book, S&P Capital IQ, or Micro Cap Monitor) drafting announcements, research, selection, and preparation of articles.
All aspects of client and investor partner coverage.
Contributing to the automation of daily tasks as part of our effort to streamline and digitalize the business.
Supporting M&A team and other teams as required.
Key Skills:
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint,
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; with the ability to effectively interact; with senior professionals; clients; and key stakeholders in other lines of business,
Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced; deadline-driven environment,
Genuine interest in global economics; financial markets; and the credit sector.
Qualifications:
Degree-level qualifications in Economics, Business, Finance, Accounting, Investments, or similar.
Minimum matric mathematics: 80%;
Minimum matric English: 70%; or equivalent A-levels.
Relevant experience commensurate with the seniority of the role.
Knowledge of valuation and accounting concepts.
Some experience in one or more of the following areas is very helpful:
Financial institutions;
Credit investing/analysis.
