Position: Senior Accountant Mr Price Group

Preparation and review of monthly management accounting packs
Preparation and review of annual budgets
Preparation and review of 5 year projections
Preparation and review of half year and year end audit packs
Preparation of annual financial statements
Liaise with internal and external audit on audit requirements
Accounting for share trusts
Review of monthly account reconciliations (balance sheet & income statement)
Analysis of financial data and the comparison of budget to actual results including reforecasting
Invoicing and recovery of tenant installation allowances
Review and release of payments
Review of monthly VAT
Review of Journal entries
Supervision of financial accountants
Maintenance and implementation of internal financial controls in accordance with Group Finance requirements
Value added process improvements
Compilation of reports and ad hoc requests
Newly qualified CA (SA) with some post article work experience preferred
IFRS
16 and general IFRS experience required
JSE listed or Large Corporate Finance experience would be an advantage
Experience in the preparation of annual financial statements
Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines
Proven ability to plan, organise and work methodically
Excellent eye for detail
Maturity and confidence to communicate at the highest level
Must be highly computer literate and able to learn quickly
Strong analytical capabilities
