Join our client’s leading Firm of Auditors and Accountants in Pretoria East as an Accounting Manager.
They’re seeking a seasoned SAIPA qualified professional to lead their dedicated Accounting team.
Requirements :
SAIPA qualification
BCom (Hons) / CTA with SAIPA articles
Proven experience in a practice environment
Proficiency in Draftworx and other relevant software
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team
Excellent communication abilities in both Afrikaans and English
Responsibilities :
Financial Management : Oversee the financial operations of small to medium-sized clients, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Tax Compliance : Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, including liaising with SARS and managing tax filings and assessments.
Accounting Processes : Manage day-to-day accounting tasks such as accounts payable / receivable, general ledger entries, and reconciliations.
Financial Analysis : Conduct financial analysis and interpretation to provide insights and support decision-making.
Audit Support : Coordinate and support audit activities, including preparation of audit schedules and liaising with auditors.
Team Leadership : Lead and mentor a small Accounting team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficiency and accuracy in tasks.
Client Communication : Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their financial inquiries and providing strategic financial advice.
