Duties
- Perform vehicle exterior washing using appropriate cleaning equipment, ensuring all surfaces are spotless and free of dirt or debris
- Conduct vehicle paint correction and buffing to restore shine and remove surface imperfections with automotive buffers and polishing tools
- Clean vehicle interiors, including vacuuming carpets, wiping down surfaces, and detailing seats to maintain a clean, comfortable environment
- Apply safe work practices when handling cleaning chemicals, equipment, and performing heavy lifting tasks to prevent injuries
- Use manual transmission controls accurately during vehicle movement or positioning within the auto detailing facility
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness standards by inspecting trucks regularly and performing touch-up cleaning as needed
- Operate various cleaning equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to all safety protocols and procedures
Skills
- Experience with vehicle exterior washing, auto detailing, buffing, and paint correction techniques
- Knowledge of safe work practices related to janitorial or custodial tasks in an automotive environment
- Ability to operate standard passenger car operation controls confidently and safely
- Familiarity with automotive buffers, cleaning equipment, and detailing products for thorough vehicle care
- Strong customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with team members and drivers
- Physical ability for heavy lifting, prolonged standing, bending, and manual dexterity required for detailed cleaning tasks
- Prior experience in auto detailing facilities or car wash environments is highly desirable
