Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. We are hiring in Edcouch Elsa, Mercedes, San Benito, Harlingen, McAllen, Mission, & Olmito, Texas. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond to emergencies, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.

Duties
- Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent theft, vandalism, and other security breaches.
- Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to ensure the safety of the premises.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing first aid and CPR when necessary.
- Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor during interactions with the public.
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services as needed during incidents.
- Document daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences in detailed reports.
- Assist in loss prevention strategies by identifying potential risks and implementing preventive measures.
- Manage conflicts effectively through de-escalation techniques and conflict management skills.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with surveillance equipment (CCTV) and loss prevention techniques is a plus.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with diverse groups of people.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in high-pressure situations.
- Must possess a valid security officer certification or be willing to obtain one upon hiring.

Pay: $9.50 – $11.00 per hour
