Duties and responsibilities

Assist with practice administration, including management of the diary, opening of files and general file management, saving of correspondence on the document managements systems / good record keeping.

Prepare and draft schedules, liaise with local Sheriffs, from time to time, Judge’s clerks, and Trade Mark Office staff.

Bring urgent matters to the attention of the attorney dealing with the matter.

Deal with matters promptly and efficiently and ensure that all urgent tasks are completed on timeously.

Ensure understanding all areas of practice and office procedures.

Attend to invoicing and payment processing of third party / vendor invoices timeously and correctly.

Accurate capturing of professionals’ time, attending to all aspects of invoicing.

Dealing with large volumes and capturing of e-mails onto electronic database.
