Job Description: Hominum Solutions is in search of an experienced Sea Exports Controller to join a prominent freight forwarding company based in Kempton Park. The ideal candidate will possess 3-5 years of experience in sea export operations and must have expertise in Cargo Wise.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage sea freight export processes from initiation to completion.
Prepare and manage all necessary export documentation (e.g., bills of lading, commercial invoices).
Liaise with shipping lines, clients, and customs officials.
Ensure compliance with international maritime regulations and customs requirements.
Track shipments and communicate updates to clients.
Address and resolve any issues related to sea freight exports.
Maintain accurate records and data entry in Cargo Wise.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in sea exports control.
Proficiency in Cargo Wise is required.
Strong knowledge of sea freight operations and international shipping regulations.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Effective communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
Problem-solving aptitude and a proactive approach.
