In this crucial role, you will oversee Supply Chain Management (SCM) Customer Interaction Centre support activities to deliver exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include managing incoming queries, providing functional support for SCM procedures and systems, and ensuring compliance with service level agreements. Minimum Requirements
- Diploma in Supply Chain Management (Essential/Minimum) or National Diploma (Relevant) (Essential/Minimum)
- Certificate in First Line Management (Recommended/Desirable)
- 3 years of experience in a customer interaction environment with essential operational involvement
- Knowledge and understanding of Supply Chain Management (SCM) policies and processes
- Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning and/or Cloud-based procurement solutions (e.g., SAP MM, Coupa)
- Psychometric Assessment and Certificate of Fitness (Essential/Minimum) (To be conducted by Exxaro)
- Competence in MS Office relevant package (Essential/Minimum)
- Strong professional written and interpersonal skills for interpreting technical information and effective communication
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders
- Capacity to work within set guidelines, standards, and corporate governance rules
Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee Supply Chain Management (SCM) Customer Interaction Centre (CIC) support activities to ensure excellent customer service delivery.
- Manage and resolve incoming queries via calls or tickets, ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
- Provide functional support related to SCM procedures, processes, and systems, offering first line SCM end user assistance.
- Escalate unresolved queries and track their progress, informing customers of updates and expected timelines.
- Foster professional communication and interaction with customers to build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders.
- Assist users in executing self-service options and participating in end user training and support optimization activities.
- Adhere to defined SLAs and key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring all responsibilities align with corporate governance rules and standards.
- Participate in the standardization and optimization of SCM processes, eliminating duplication and supporting functional excellence initiatives.
- Maintain a safe and compliant work environment, aligning with all applicable Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) standards and policies.
- Contribute to a culture of safety and continuous improvement, promoting the values and culture of Exxaro Resources within the function.
