SCCM Administrator
Job Description:
Desktop management using SCCM which includes software deployment, hot fix updates, OS deployment, etc.
Server management using WSUS, including Microsoft OS security updates and hot fix installation.
SCCM Imaging.
Software packaging using Admin Studio packager and deployment using SCCM.
Generating reports using SCCM software inventory and maintaining software usage lists.
Involvement in Wintel Administration and Active Directory as a secondary role.
Candidate Requirements:
Minimum 4+ years managing SMS/SCCM in an enterprise environment.
Knowledge of software deployment using SMS/SCCM.
Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and their components.
Knowledgeable in security patch processes and software updates.
MSI and EXE application packaging experience using Microsoft Admin Studio (packaging), VBScript, and/or Power Shell scripting is a plus.
Working knowledge of OS deployment in SCCM (image management, task sequences).
Knowledgeable of Windows infrastructure services (DNS, WINS, DHCP, etc.).
Provide operational support and troubleshooting of system infrastructures.
Microsoft Certification in SCCM is preferred. Good awareness of ITIL standards is a plus.
