Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Scale House Operator to oversee the efficient operation of our scale house facility. In this vital role, you will manage the weighing, documentation, and processing of inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring compliance with shipping regulations and inventory accuracy. Responsibilities
- Operate the Repete System to record and track all incoming and outgoing shipments accurately
- Weigh trucks and cargo using scale equipment, ensuring proper documentation for each load
- Verify shipment details against shipping documents, purchase orders, and inventory records
- Assist with loading/unloading activities as needed
- Maintain detailed records of shipments, inventory movements, and load/unload activities using data entry skills
- Ensure compliance with trade regulations
- Support inventory management efforts by updating stock levels
Requirements
- Proven experience working in warehouse operations or distribution centers with familiarity in Repete Software and inventory management software
- Strong knowledge of shipping logistics, order fulfillment, and stock control processes
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for weighing and measurement purposes
- Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers, and other warehouse equipment safely
- Excellent data entry skills combined with customer service aptitude to assist drivers, vendors, and internal teams
- Familiarity with trade regulations, and trade compliance standards is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards
